Principal Memo – Parent Update

Dear Parents,

As we come to the end of another week I want to commend the students in grades 5,6,7 and 8 who adjusted so well to the 4 days of in school learning.  Next week grade 4 will begin to come Monday to Thursday while 8th grade will go back to their alternating day schedule for 1 week.

The office staff will be taking the final training of the rSchoolToday health monitoring app so we can do daily health reports on your cell phones.  We hope to have this ready for Monday so please look for enrollment directions starting tomorrow.  We will still have hard copies available each day but hopefully this will make the process more convenient for all.  Please continue to keep children home who are not feeling well, they can always sign on to distance learning even if they are not scheduled for the day.

Next Monday, October 12, is Columbus Day so there will be no classes either in school or online.  Starting Tuesday October 13 students will be required to follow the regular school dress code.  The only exception will be for boys in the upper grades who will not have to wear ties as this is not a good combination with masks.

Have a good weekend and stay well.
