The opening of school is coming closer and I want to continue to provide updates for you.:
– Ms. Rivera has resigned to take a position closer to her new home in Connecticut. I am happy to inform you that I have been able to hire Ms. Caitlin Ingoglia to take her place. Ms. Goglia comes to use highly recommended from Our Lady’s Catholic Academy which was one of the schools that recently had to close. She has a Master’s Degree and 10 years of experience and I am sure she will be a fine addition to our staff.
-This week teachers will or have already scheduled preliminary Zoom meetings to introduce themselves to you and explain their plans for the beginning of school.
-As I have stated it is hard to plan beyond the first few weeks so please do not request any changes to class assignments or groups at this time
-During the school year students will not be permitted to use the water fountains so please send drinks with them each day
-There are a number of attachments to this email.
Opening of School Schedule for next week and new dismissal times for the year. These have been slightly altered to allow students to leave the area before other schools dismiss and give teachers time to work with distance learners before the end of the day
Distance Learning Acknowledgement for Parents Please sign and return to school. This is required by the diocese for all students whatever learning option has been chosen
Return to School Acknowledgement: Please sign and return also required by the diocese for all families.
As always things are subject to change but be assured that the faculty and staff are doing their best to provide a safe and sound educational environment.
Have a good day.
