SNT Coronavirus Update – March 13 – 1pm

Dear Parents,

All Catholic schools in the Diocese of Brooklyn will be closed next week (March 16 to 20).  Teachers will be in on Monday to prepare distance learning.  Material will be forwarded via email and the school website.
After school care will go on as scheduled today.
If you do not have access to a computer and would like to borrow an IPad or a Chromebook they can be picked up on Monday from 9 am to 2 pm.  Some of the teachers will be preparing materials to email with worksheets especially for the younger grades.
Information will also be forwarded once we have a plan for report card distribution.
As of now we have no information on the New York State tests scheduled for grades 4,6 and 7 on March 25 and 26.
We will also keep you informed on plans moving forward beyond next week.

SCHOOL IS IN GOOD ORDER TODAY AND CHILDREN ARE WORKING.  PLEASE DO NOT SEND THIS INFORMATION TO THEM.  I WILL MAKE AN ANNOUNCEMENT TO THEM BEFORE THE END OF THE DAY.  PLEASE NO CELL PHONE CALLS OR TEXTS!!!
